A new date has been announced for the Global Entrepreneurship Symposium (GES) 3:0 .
The event which was initially fixed for Thursday, November 16, 2023 will now hold from Friday 24th to Saturday 25th November 2023
The shift in date, the organisers say is to make room for greater participation and accommodation of more businesses
The symposium with the theme ” Bring Your Business To Life” aims at projecting, promoting and positioning indigenous Medium Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs) for competitiveness and market expansion. It is further geared towards promoting made in Africa products and also to encourage creativity and originality of our products, through greater or enhanced entrepreneurial activities
According to the GES 2023 Convener, Julie Obi, distinguished speakers have been lined up for the event, notable amongst whom are Bunmi kola Dawodu, Lagos State Manager, SMEDAN, Julia McKay, Public Affairs Officer, US Consolate, Lagos, Omede Olisa – Achingale, founder and CEO, Bosaz Foods, and Alero Thompson, founder, Blue Sands Academy. Others are Edward Esene, Member, Board of Directors, Innovation Support Network and Juliet Obi, founder, Kidpreneur Africa
These speakers and panelist are expected to provide insight on how entrepreneurs can get more access to markets, access to funding opportunities and strategies to thrive in their entrepreneurial journey.
The GES organisers who revealed that participation at the event is free said the occasion, will feature inspiring keynote speakers and panel discussions as well as showcase fireside chats, networking sessions, fashion runway, and fitness dancing sessions
Annually the Global Entrepreneurship Symposium is organized to build the capacity of our local entrepreneurs for global competitiveness
This year’s edition which is the 3rd in the series promises to bring together over 200 Exhibitors and participants to brainstorm for entrepreneurship growth and development in Nigeria and Africa.
