Dangote set to invest $160m in Ankpa coal mines of Kogi state

The Chairman of Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Aliko Dangote while paying an official visit to Governor Yahaya Bello at the Government House to discuss the ‘new direction agenda’ policy of the government, indicated his company’s interest in the mining sector of Kogi’s economy, The Nationreports.

Dangote, who described Kogi State as investment destination, said his company is interested in investing the sum of 160 million US Dollars to open two coal mines in the state. Dangote said the two mines were located in the Ankpa area of the state and also added that his company was prepared to commence the necessary operations within the next 30 days.
